UEFA is the Union of European Football Associations — Europe's soccer confederation, running the sport across 55 member countries. Think of it as one of FIFA's six regional conferences — the richest and most-watched of the six. UEFA runs three stacked club competitions — the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League — and every European country funnels its best clubs into them the same way.
