Concacaf / the USA's home region

Concacaf is the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football — the soccer confederation for 41 countries, from Canada down to the Caribbean, and the USMNT's home region. Think of it as one of FIFA's six regional conferences — the answer to “what conference is the USMNT in?” Its clubs chase the Champions Cup (and a spot at the Club World Cup); its national teams chase the Gold Cup and, ultimately, the World Cup.
